Established in 2020, WIRC is the nation’s first and only NSF-sponsored Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) focused on wildfire. In an IUCRC, the Industry Advsiory Board (IAB) funds and drives our research agenda. For an annual membership fee of $50,000, your organization helps direct $500,000+ in annual wildfire science research.
